0024: Keyhole to Hell
|
This puzzle uses the similar basic concept as the design
"Sultans Examination". So both are a tanglement puzzle using
a wire construction and a piece of rope that has to
be maneuvered into a special position within the wire.
For this puzzle "Keyhole to Hell" I improved the previous one
by the following two differences:
The name for that puzzle was given due to obvious reasons: The
shape of the wire is similar to an old-fashioned keyhole whereas the
difficulty of the puzzle adds the expression "to Hell".
Of course there is an 'obvious' position the rope has to be put into
the wire construction: the rope goes behind the middle crossing
with each end of the rope sticking out of a hole - the end with the
slice goes through the round hole and the end with the ball goes
through the rectangular hole. But how can it be achieved? That is
the puzzle!
In addition to the puzzle itself it is supplied with a small stand where the wire construction and the rope can be put up on a hook for display.
