This disentanglement puzzle was designed such that it uses three wooden slices. Normally string puzzles have a maximum number of 2 wooden slices because there is no need to have more - but I designed this puzzle such that it uses three slices. In addition to that the ring got a 'small' obstacle, a ball, that prevents the ring from completely being pulled through the hole in the pole.

The objective of the puzzle is to free the dark brown ring. Here a picture of the puzzle with the ring in the starting position:
